FootBall Birthday

I love Birthdays and I always seem to be prepared for most of the Birthdays that I host. But this time, I guess I waited to prepare for things at the last moment. But things worked out just fine at the end.

It was a beautiful day to have a Birthday outside at the park. I always worry for my Nov Birthday that it might rain on the day of the party. And when I checked the weather few days before the party, it did show some chances of rain that day and I was getting worried again. The day even started being a bit cloudy, but turned pretty nice and warm later during the day.

It was a Football themed party. And the success of the party was hugely also because of the wonderful coach we had, who kept the boys running and playing for nearly two hours. The boys had a blast.

I found the perfect printables at dazzlexpressions to tie with the Football theme, which set the tone for the party.

These are the pictures from the snack table. I don't know if you noticed, but I made the table cover to look like a football field too...:) Maybe I can show you how to make that in one of my post - an easy peasy project...

Water bottles were wrapped using the printable from dazzleexpressions.

The cupcakes had the football theme too.

Hah...Now I see two little fingers smudged one of my cupcakes...:)

I also made the cake look like a football field. Well, I can say, I have to work on my cake decorating skills. Also, this picture was taken at night, so the lighting isn't that great either. I was working on this cake at 1:00am at night and  was tired. And in the morning, got busy and didn't get to take any pictures of the cake by itself. I took some pictures of the cake during the party, but none came out very clear...:(

I also made another smaller football cake to be cut at home.
