Wrapping a cupcake.

Few days back, when we had the school carnival, I volunteered to bake cupcakes for the bake sale. Baking was no problem, but  all baked stuff needed to be individually wrapped for the sale and that was the problem. How do I wrap 50+ cupcakes!!. I didn't have time to go shopping and as it is those cupcake boxes I have bought in the past are not really cheap, specially if you need so many.

I searched online and found lot of ideas of wrapping cupcakes. But the one I liked and that was really inexpensive and with the things I already had with me was to use clear plastic cups. The idea was to put the cupcakes in the clear cups and wrap it with clear plastic sheet and tie with ribbon. But I dreaded cutting all that wrapping paper to wrap each cupcake. So I used the fold down sandwich bags and that worked just as well. No need of cutting 50+ wrapping paper squares.

I frosted the cupcakes with school colors..:) Then put them in clear cups.

Then put the cups in sandwich bags and tied them up with a ribbon.

All wrapped up and ready for bake sale..:)
