Minute-to-win-it Party Games

Few days back, we had a bunch of kids at home. I was looking for ideas to keep them occupied and not be on the screen the whole time. We ended up playing some fun minute to win it games.
I couldn’t take pictures of all the games we did or planned but here are a few.

- Stacking cups.

Time them who could stack the cups in a pyramid form and take it down too first.

-  For this game you have to balance the upside down cups between sheets of paper and pull the paper fast enough so that the cups fall and stack on each other. You keep trying till all the cups are stacked. If the cups fall and do not stack well on top of each other, start over again. First one to stack all cups wins.

- Blow them down
Arrange a row of cups at the edge of the table and give a balloon to the contestant. He/she have to blow up the balloon and use the air from the balloon to knock the cups down. You might have to blow the balloon up again if all the cups are not knocked down.

- Bounce in the cups.
Arrange a row of 5 cups in the table. Then give ping pong balls to the participant and he/she has to bounce the ball on the table and into the cup. The first to get the balls in the cups wins. The ball can not be directly put in the cup, it has to bounce first and then land in the cup.

We didn't have time for all the games, but others we had planned to play were.
- Moving cups up. Stack 20 one colored cups and then top it with another colored cup. So the odd color cup is on the top. Now move the bottom cup to the top. So after the first step the odd color will be second from top. Keep moving cups from bottom to top till the odd colored is back on top. The first one to do that is the winner.

- Scoop it up.
Scoop tiny marshmallows from one bowl to the other using spoon held in your mouth.
These were fun to play and kept the kids busy for quiet some time.

- Similar to the above game was transfer skittles from one plate to other using straw.
