Paper Dahlias

I have seen beautiful paper Dahlias all over the blog world. Most of the ones which I saw were bigger and used for hanging on the walls, like a wreath. I made a smaller version of it, great to be used as gift toppers.

You'll need:
---------------
Paper - whatever color you prefer.
Glue.

And that's it! Don't you like crafts, which hardly require any stuff to make..:)

Steps:
------
- Cut little 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches squares of the paper,  and roll it in cones. I rolled like 30-40 little cones.

- Now take approximately two inches diameter of round piece of paper and start gluing the cones, starting from the outer edge of the circle. Keep gluing all around the edge.

- Then glue another layer of cones inside the outer edge. Keep gluing the cones as close as possible and how much denser you want your flower to be.

- You can keep gluing the cones till the flower is full and complete. Or in my case, for the center instead of gluing the cones, I drew a flower with 10 petals and cut it out and rolled the petals with a pencil and attached at the center.
