Made these stunning Christmas trees the other day using just printer paper. How cool is this. I think it looks pretty amazing..:)
And so easy to make too.
You'll need:
-------------
Printer Paper
Glue and Scissors.
Steps:
- Make a cone shape from the paper.
- Cut strips of paper and cut fringes on one of the long sides of the paper. Using a pencil roll the edges of the fringe a little. If you want to see how to use the pencil to roll the edges of the fringe, you can look here.
- Start gluing the fringes starting from the bottom of the cone and moving your way up.
- Keep going till you reach the tip of the cone.

DeleteThey are quite stunning. I wonder if a glitter paper would work or if it would be too thick to spread out well. Thanks for linking up to Gingerly Made's Show & Tell.
ReplyDeleteThat's what even I think. Thicker papers won't curl as much I think, but you could give it a try.
DeleteHi, thank you for sharing this great info. Was just browsing through the net in my office and happened upon your blog. It is really very well written and quit comprehensive in explaining with a very simple language.

These look just like the feather trees you see in the store for quite a bit of money. Nice to know they are easily replicated with something as simple as paper. Thanks for the inspiration.
