Tissue Paper Flower

I love making paper flowers. You can use them in so many different ways. And these are very easy and quick to make.

You'll need:
--------------
- 8 squares of Crepe or Tissue Paper
- 4 squares of little smaller size of crepe or tissue paper.

Steps:
-------
- Fold each of the crepe paper into a triangle. You can stack a few crepe paper at a time to do this.

- And then fold it again into another triangle, just like the picture below.

- Now cut the crepe paper like the shape below.

- After you unfold the crepe paper, you should have something like this.

- Stack all the crepe paper, rotating the petals a little so that the petals do not align on top of each other. Also make sure that the smaller petals are on the top.

-Now staple the petals together.

- Start fluffing the petals, starting from the top.

- Keep fluffing till all the petals are fluffed and it looks like a flower. I used my flower to top a gift.

Linking this to these awesome parties hereherehere and here.

  1. Good Morning Priyam, What a beautiful idea. I know my friends and family would love to receive such a beautiful, personalized gift.
I have decided I am going to practice a few times before I add a tissue paper flower to a gift.... just to make sure I do it correctly.
    Best Wishes

    1. Hello Daphne! I am sure you will be making the prettiest flower even the first time. This flower is very forgiving. So you don't even need to have the perfect petals while cutting the tissue paper. Fluff it and its pretty..:)

  2. These are gorgeous - I can't believe they are so simple to make! I think they would look really pretty on a garland or maybe a few strands full of them dangling vertically from the ceiling... Thanks for the great tutorial!
