Paper Cut Leaf

As you would have noticed from the past few posts, that I have been enjoying paper cutting lately.I think these paper cutting projects has not only helped me in improving my paper cutting skills, but has also helped work on my patience, which I have very little of....;)



I have to admit, a few times while cutting this leaf, I stopped myself and thought why do I have to do this and then a different voice in my head would say, keep going, it will look nice at the end. Oh well, after two hours of cutting, I was quiet pleased with the result. The only thing is only if I would have drawn a much better leaf to start with..hah...may be next time

For this, I used an x-acto knife to cut a picture drawn on a white printing paper. Here are some of the pictures of how I started and in the process.

Almost there. Just a few more cuts left. 

And finally done!!!! Yay!!!!
