Host a GingerBread Decorating Party.

The holiday season brings with it a flurry of traditions, warmth, and delightful experiences, and one of the most cherished activities is undoubtedly gingerbread house decorating. There's something magical about assembling these sweet abodes, adorning them with colorful candies, and creating edible masterpieces with loved ones. If you're looking to add a dash of festive cheer to your gatherings, why not host a Gingerbread Decorating Party?

If you are planning to host a gingerbread decorating party, here's a little guide to help you with hsoting the party.

Gather Supplies: Stock up on gingerbread house kits or make your own gingerbread houses in advance. I have used both gingerbread kits and also made my own using Graham crackers. Cut the pieces from the graham crackers and stick the pieces together using royal icing to make the house shape.

Ensure you have a variety of candies, icing, sprinkles, and edible decorations for everyone to personalize their creations. Some other decorating options are cereal like cheerios, wheat thins, little crackers and pretzel sticks.

Don't forget to have plenty of disposable piping bags or zip-top bags for the icing. Remember to set up tables with protective coverings, you know it will get messy with frostings and provide enough space for each guest to work comfortably.

Set the Scene: I used these gingerbread cutouts from HGTV  which just set the scene for this party. I used these cutouts at different places.

Make memories: Let the creativity flow! Decorate the houses with candies and icing.

Refreshments: Provide snacks and drinks to keep everyone energized and hydrated during the decorating frenzy. Cookies and seasonal treats will surely be appreciated. I set up the hot cocoa bar too, which is always a hit with kids.

Hosting a gingerbread decorating party is a fantastic way to celebrate the holiday season with family, friends, and loved ones. It's a time to bond, create, and revel in the joy of the season. So, gather your supplies, spread some cheer, and let the decorating fun begin!

If not the gingerbread house decorating, cookie decorating is a fun activity too :).
