Book themed Birthday

This year for her birthday, one of my daughters just wanted more books. So my other kiddo suggested we should throw her a book themed birthday. So that's what we did ..:)

Since we are still in the lockdown pandemic times, it was just us the family celebrating her birthday. We did a little scavenger hunt, watched movies and took it easy that day...:)

Here are some pictures from her birthday setup. My 10 year old baked the cake for her sister. It was a book cake, which came out perfect with a rectangle cake, cut a little 'V' shaped right in the center length of the cake for the spine and frosted white to look like a open book. And then she went all out writing and decorating it 😆😆.

There were cake pops, book themed cookies and other snacks.

The fun part was the scavenger hunt. Look at these clues, Britni from Play.Party.Plan has it available here. Please visit her for more fun ideas.

We even had some props for photo sessions 😊
