Check out this movie themed birthday, which was so much fun to put together.
Few days back, we had a small birthday party with just few friends. The kids gathered at home before driving together to the movies.
While we waited for everyone to arrive, the kids snacked on fruits, cookies, chocolate popcorn and cupcakes. I even had a photo booth setup and the kids were natural posing with different props..:)
So, here are the pictures from the party.
To go with the theme, I made movie reel Birthday cake.
Marshmallow Popcorn cupcakes. These I made by frosting chocolate cupcakes and sticking the marshmallow on the frosting. I made a little cut on each of the marshmallow and dabbed yellow food coloring on it to look like buttered popcorn.
Movie ticket sugar cookies. Check out this recipe I followed to make the sugar cookie.
I cut the watermelon into star shapes.
Movie reel water bottle labels
And don't miss the coca cola glasses...:) I thought those were so cute and perfect for the theme.
The chocolate popcorn was served in the popcorn bins..:)
And here's the picture of the photo booth props. I made the photo frame using a black poster, which I cut to make the frame and glued rectangles pieces of white paper to make it look like a reel.
Overall a simple and fun theme for the Birthday..:)
