Pressed flower Bouquet

 

 With the pressed flowers that I made using the method mentioned in my previous post, I made this flower bouquet.

 This is such a great way to not only preserve flowers but display them too. Great for preserving some special occasion flowers I think.

Making dried flowers

 

So few days back, I found a new way to make dried flowers the quick and easy way. All this time, I have been drying flowers just like a lot of other people still do I think, pressing between the pages of the book. Then wait for like days to get them all dried up. But not always did they turn out as beautiful and colorful as I would have hoped for. Specially the flowers after being between the pages, they sometimes will loose their color and also turn out to be just brown old pressed flowers 😒.

Past few days, I have been cutting flowers and have been enjoying it. Here are some flowers that I am made. 

Giant Paper Flowers

I have seen similar paper paper flowers all over the blogland and have been wanting to make my own. Paper flowers are getting more and more used in different kinds of decor. Mix it up with real flowers and you can have a striking decor with a fraction of the cost of using the real flowers. These are great for backdrops or for any kind of decor for that matter. You can make these with colored paper to go with your decor and it would look great too or even mix up the colors.

Twine Flowers

I love making these twine flowers. You can make these with twine, yarn or any kind of thread for that matter.
