Movie Night

    

We celebrated a birthday few days back with a movie night.  This was the snacks table setup, with home-made brownies and cookies.

Carnival Birthday Party!

 Last year we celebrated all birthdays as family with no guests because of the pandemic.

This year since the schools are also back in-person, we thought of inviting few friends but keeping the guest list small since we are still not over this pandemic yet.

Book themed Birthday

This year for her birthday, one of my daughters just wanted more books. So my other kiddo suggested we should throw her a book themed birthday. So that's what we did ..:)

Since we are still in the lockdown pandemic times, it was just us the family celebrating her birthday. We did a little scavenger hunt, watched movies and took it easy that day...:)

Spa Day at Home

 

This birthday turned perfect.. what better way to celebrate by relaxing at home with a spa themed birthday :) 

During this quarantine time, we couldn't have friends over to keep with the social distancing rules nor were we going out anywhere. Since we were home, this spa themed birthday seemed perfect and oh yes, the birthday girl loved getting pampered and loved it all.

Minute-to-win-it Party Games

Few days back, we had a bunch of kids at home. I was looking for ideas to keep them occupied and not be on the screen the whole time. We ended up playing some fun minute to win it games.

Girl Lego Themed Birthday

We celebrated our daughter's birthday few days back with this adorable Lego themed Birthday party. Lately she has been into Legos. She got that from her brother. I remember those days when he was younger and will play with legos and forget to gather all the pieces after he is done playing with them.And we will find small pieces of lego lying around when we accidentally stepped on those pieces. Those were painful...
So far my daughter has been more careful about her lego pieces and keeps them safe

Chevron Party

Few days back we had a sleepover party. While deciding on the theme I went back and forth with different themes and for the longest time couldn't decide what to do. Finally I went with this Chevron theme. It came together pretty easily and turned out to be colorful and pretty, just the way I like it..:)

Escape Room Birthday

We recently celebrated a birthday, by going to an Escape Room. I have never been to an escape room, so didn't know what to expect. But I had heard about it. What I knew was only that you need to find hints hidden in the room and solve maybe puzzles and crack a code to escape from a locked room.

Polka Dot Party

I love colorful and cheerful parties and this was such a fun theme for a kid's birthday party.

This time we celebrated the Birthday by going to a jumpie place. We met at the house so that we could all drive together to the jumpie place. After the jump house, we all went out for lunch to a restaurant and then icecream place too..:)

Movie Themed Birthday

Check out this movie themed birthday, which was so much fun to put together.
Few days back, we had a small birthday party with just few friends. The kids gathered at home before driving together to the movies.
While we waited for everyone to arrive, the kids snacked on fruits, cookies, chocolate popcorn and cupcakes. I even had a photo booth setup and the kids were natural posing with different props..:)

Laser Tag Birthday

Before organizing this laser tag party, I didn't have the slightest idea about how the laser tag would be. All the ideas came from the birthday boy himself, since he had been to a couple of Laser tag parties of his friends and wanted a laser tag birthday party. And I tell you what, at the party, I got to play a couple of laser tag games and what fun it was!!!. It helped that the staff at the party place were super cool and kept the kids engaged.

Mermaid Birthday Party!

This year, my daughter wanted a Mermaid Birthday Party. So I was decided on throwing a swimming birthday party for her at the local YMCA swimming pool. Till few days before the party, when I wanted to book the pool, I came to know that the party slot was only late in the evening, which didn't work for us. So had to come up with other option. I ended up having the party at home, but had to incorporate some water mermaid related games and activities.

Gymnastics Birthday Party

Few days back, we celebrated a birthday with Gymnastics theme. The birthday was at a Gymnastics center and it was so much fun for the girls.

Lego Birthday Party

Oh, how I love a colorful, cheerful party. And this Lego party was just that.

Frozen Themed Birthday

We are not over the Frozen movie yet... we celebrated another birthday with a Frozen theme... What a fun party it turned out to be... I had fun planning for it and most importantly my daughter loved every part of it....:)

Tie-Dye Cake

I made a tie-dye cake for the painting theme birthday we had few days back.  You can see more pictures from the Painting Birthday party here. I wanted a colorful cake to go with the theme. And I loved how this came out to be.

My kids helped me in mixing the colors in the batter and it was like a science project for them...:) They loved mixing the colors and also loved seeing the colors once it was cut.

Painting Birthday Party.

We had a fun paint Birthday party few days back. The kids got to paint little figurines at the party, which was also one of the favors.

I had a hodge podege of ideas till only few days before the party as to what I wanted for that day, but it came out all well at the end..:) Had fun making the paint palette cookies. The rice krispie paint brushes was a last minute addition we made on the day of the party. I love colorful parties and the theme for this party was itself colorful, so loved everything about it.

Football Table Cover

For a Football Birthday party which I hosted few days back, I knew I needed a green table cover. Then I thought maybe I could make the table cover look like a football field.

I cut strips of white craft paper and glued it to the table cover. Just like the pictures below.

I love Birthdays and I always seem to be prepared for most of the Birthdays that I host. But this time, I guess I waited to prepare for things at the last moment. But things worked out just fine at the end.
