I love fresh flowers, but if you want a ever fresh looking flowers without the hassle of maintaining it, then fake flowers are the way to go...:) But fake flowers doesn't mean it has to be ugly looking.
Make these pretty flowers, with just plain printer paper or maybe you can use colored paper if you like.
You'll need:
--------------
Paper - I used one sheet of A4 paper per flower.
Glue
Floral wire or in my case I used twigs I found in the yard. You can use wooden skewers if you do not have the floral wire.
Steps:
-------
- Cut the paper length wise in half and cut fringes just like the picture below. After cutting the fringes, roll the fringes a little using a pencil, so the ends are a little curved. I think you can make out from the picture that the paper is curving a little at the edges.
- Apply glue of the edge of the paper which is not cut and start rolling the paper on the wooden skewer or floral wire.
- Roll it all the way to the end. I rolled two strips of fringed paper. You can roll as many paper you like depending on how fuller you want your flower to be.
In this paper flower arrangement, I used another paper flower, the instructions of which can be found here.
