Baby Shower

This was the first time, I decorated for a baby shower. It was a simple decoration, but loved every bit of it..:)

Take a look at the pictures from the shower.

Love the simple onsies banner. I  had earlier thought of using the real cloth onsies, but since I didn't have enough of it to make a banner, I went with this paper cut option..:)
To dress up the backdrop, used the paper cut flowers. Check out here, to see the tutorial to make these flowers.

The diaper cake was one of the highlights of this setting. There are plenty of tutorials online to make one of these.

Also part of the decoration was the showers, which we hung from the chandelier.

We had some fun games during the party, like the traditional guessing the mommy's belly size, picking pins from the rice and other word games. One of the activities was also to leave some fun and inspirational messages for the mommy and dad-to-be on the diapers for the late night diaper changes.

And yes the food, there was plenty of yummy food - Thanks to all the friends who made and brought the food. The only thing I made that was close to food was carve the watermelon into this baby carriage and fill it with fruits...:)
