Frozen Themed Birthday

We are not over the Frozen movie yet... we celebrated another birthday with a Frozen theme... What a fun party it turned out to be... I had fun planning for it and most importantly my daughter loved every part of it....:)

Here are the details of the party with lot of pictures from that day.

At the door, I had a sign which I decorated with party colors and stuck some snowflakes which I got from my Christmas decoration bin.

I cut a whole bunch of paper snowflakes and I hung them from the ceiling. I didn't get very good pictures of that though. The main thing in the snack/dessert table was the frozen cake. It was a chocolate cake, which the birthday girl wanted with blue buttcream frosting, decorated with coconut flakes and topped with candy melt snowflake.

For snacks, there were snowballs, which were cake balls rolled in coconut. I also had some powdered donut holes.

Carrots and ranch dip for olaf noses.

Strawberry dipped in white chocolate for Elsa's Frozen hearts.

Snowflake cupcakes. Those were vanilla cupcakes with blue buttercream frosting. I made the snowflakes with white candy melts.

We also had pretzel sticks as Sven's antlers  and snow cones for Kristoff's Ice.

I also made some snowman faces with white powdered donuts. which turned out a little scary looking....hahahaha....but kids loved it anyways...:)

For the goodie bags, apart from the other little trinklets, there was a bag with stuff to make a snowman.

For activities, there was fake snow for the kids to play with. At the end of the party the kids had a snowball fight, so it turned out a little messy with the powdery mess all over, but the kids had lots of fun.

One of the other activities I had in mind 'pin the nose on the olaf,' but with the jumpie, pinata and other activities, we didn't get to play the pin the nose game. But the olaf in the door did make a nice decoration for the party.

All in all it turned out to be a fun party.

All the printable for the party was from here.

  13. My daughter loves Elsa, even sometimes pretends to be Elsa and that is why this time I am thinking to plan a similar birthday party for her. I have some best NYC venues in my mind but before that I need to set my budget.
