Painted Pinecones

Doesn't that look like the flower Zinnia..:). As the title of the post already gave it away, these are painted pinecones.

I have quite a collection of pinecones. I love how they look, even without painting or doing anything to it. I love to use them in decor during fall... during Christmas it goes on wreaths and garlands...
For spring now, I thought of painting them. Its a great project for the kids. My kids love to paint. And it was a great project for them.

You can paint the whole pinecone or in my case, I painted just the bottom of it. The bottom of it looks much more like a flower.

I love how they turned out to be..
