Origami

Its always fun to work with my children on the arts and crafts projects. With simple things found around the house, fun things can be made. One of the last projects I worked with my son is what me made for his school teachers for Teachers Appreciation week. With some construction paper and glue the result wasn't that bad.

We made paper flowers and glued them at one end of the stick. Filled up little pots with some potting mix and stuck the stick with the flower in the potting mix. Wrapped up the little pots along with a bag of flower seeds and put a label "Thank you for helping me grow".  His teachers loved the gift and he loved that he actually helped in making these gifts.
