Paper Rosettes/Flowers

I cant take the credit for making these beauties though. My daughter made these and I had to learn from her how to make them 😀

Paper flowers are so great for decorations - no worries about them withering and they definitely last longer. 

Paper Flower -with paint chips

I had these paint chips collected from the past painting projects. And this was the easiest use of these I thought. Looks great too 😀

All you need is a cardboard base to glue these on, some black construction paper for the center, glue,  scissors and of course paint chips or colored construction paper to cut out petals and you are set.

Paper Cut Flower Bouquet

 

When I had initially made this flower bouquet papercut, it didn't plan on having any colors. Infact it was all plain white, like the picture below. I had taken the picture of my initial papercut  and shared it. As I always have done in the past, I used a single sheet of paper to cut this out and since I used a plain white sheet of paper, the cutout was obviously all one color - white . Then one of my good friends commented, this would have been better, if it had color.

Most of the times I have some kind of wreath hanging at my door. But for the past month or so, there has been nothing, since I have been looking for something new. So made this rolled paper flower  wreath to hang on the door and I am loving it..:)

I am hooked to paper cutting, atleast for now, till I find something more interesting to do ..😊 This requires the least amount of things, no glue, no other fancy stuff, just paper and cutting tool and I can grab these anytime and sit with these two things and cut away..

Recycling Magazine - Part 2

Just like I mentioned in my previous post, I am still using trying to reuse my magazine pile. So here's another simple project made with magazine..:)

Bunch of Flowers

This time last year, we were out and about enjoying the spring flowers that bloom all around this time of the year.  But as with most of you, we are home for the past few days too. Since, we couldn't go and look at the spring flowers, thought of making a bunch of flowers to enjoy  at home..:)

This is one of the bunches I made this past weekend.

Paper Flowers

Spending time making some more paper flowers today.. what better way to spend being stuck at home time crafting..
Want to make a bouquet of these flowers and have to make more of these to put it all together. But snapped a few pictures of the few I made to show them to you all :)

Paper Flowers

This past weekend, had a relaxing time making some paper flowers - some from crepe paper and some from printer paper. I had a day off from work and after so long it felt like i had some free time. And when I have some down time , I like to craft..:)

I have made paper flowers before, but didn’t put it together in a bouquet. So this was part of that attempt. I made a bouquet for my kids teacher too for the teacher appreciation week, but I forgot to take a picture of that 😌.. I wished I did, because that one came out better than I had expected 😀.

Crepe Paper Flowers

This past weekend, I had fun making these crepe paper flowers with my little one. Infact she did most of the gluing. I just had to cut the papers into petals and she did the gluing part. I had lots of crepe  paper remaining from the crepe paper banner I had made for one of the birthday parties. I knew, I didn't want to store the banner, but didn't want to toss away all those crepe paper pieces which were in good condition. So thought of making flowers. It was a good project to keep my little one busy and she was so excited to make all these.

Paper Wisteria

You know how it is sometimes, you just cannot capture a picture of something the way you actually see it. These paper wisteria are so much better in person, but I just couldn't capture a good shot which does justice to how good it actually looks. I still have to work on my photography skills..:D

Easy Paper Medallion

These paper medallions are great for decorating and can even be used to top gifts.  I have been making these paper medallions for a long time, accordion folding the paper and gluing the edges together, just like I mention in  the tutorial here.

Paper Flower Backdrop

Finally, the paper flower backdrop is done! I have been wanting to make this forever it seems like. And the results are just awesome..:)

The lazy me made only few flowers at a time and then take a few days break, so took a while to get this done. But I am so glad that I am finally done.

Paper Hydrangea

The hydrangeas in my garden have started to bloom, but they do not last as long as I would like them to. Well, these paper hydrangea will hopefully last much longer..:)

The flower backdrop is coming together nicely. I have been making different shapes and sizes of paper flowers.

Giant Paper Flowers

I have seen similar paper paper flowers all over the blogland and have been wanting to make my own. Paper flowers are getting more and more used in different kinds of decor. Mix it up with real flowers and you can have a striking decor with a fraction of the cost of using the real flowers. These are great for backdrops or for any kind of decor for that matter. You can make these with colored paper to go with your decor and it would look great too or even mix up the colors.

Easy Paper Flower

Made these paper flowers the other day. It is quick and easy to make. You can use it a variety of ways, in cards or maybe make a bunch to use in a garland just like I used it.
