Paper Flower -with paint chips

I had these paint chips collected from the past painting projects. And this was the easiest use of these I thought. Looks great too 😀

All you need is a cardboard base to glue these on, some black construction paper for the center, glue,  scissors and of course paint chips or colored construction paper to cut out petals and you are set.

I cut a whole lot of petals from the paint chips and also cut circular base out of a cardboard on which I would glue the petals.

Then I started gluing the petals at the edge of the cardboard base overlapping the petals, just like the picture below.

After the outermost edge is complete, now glue the second inner layer by overlapping the petals to the outer layer. You can glue three or four layers of petals this way.  The number of layers depends on how fuller you want your flower to look like. Just leave some space in the middle for the center of the flower to go.

I used the black construction paper to make the center. I cut thin strips of black paper, made fringes. and rolled and glued to make the center. 

I kept adding more strips to make the center look the size I wanted it to be.

Beautiful, isnt it?!
