Carnival Birthday Party!

Last year we celebrated all birthdays as family with no guests because of the pandemic.

This year since the schools are also back in-person, we thought of inviting few friends but keeping the guest list small since we are still not over this pandemic yet.

So here are the pictures from the Carnival Themed Birthday.

We had game stations and kids got tickets for the games they played. They exchanged the tickets for the prizes, which was their favors :).

All the games were pretty easy to setup, We had ring toss,

Ball Toss.

There was another game ping-pong toss for which I cant find any good pictures to share 😞. But that was easy to setup too. I arranged little cups filled half way with water in a tray. Kids had to toss ping-pong balls from a distance, in the cups to earn tickets.

Then there was knocking down the stack. My youngest wanted to use these bean bags she made to knock down the stack first. But had to replace it use balls instead, since the bean bags was too big and too easy to use. I needed to have a little bit of challenge in the games πŸ˜‰

Some other games which we had and again I don't have any good pictures to share are the basketball hoop and since we have a little putting green in our yard, we used that as one of the games too.

Oh we also had a guessing booth. I filled a jar with chocolates. Kids guessed the number of chocolates and at the end of the party, we saw who guessed the closest to the actual number and the winner got to keep the jar of chocolates.

Keeping these covid times in mind, we had all the food which was individual serve and wrapped.

Hope going through this gave you some ideas for your next carnival theme get -together, which can be fun not only for birthdays, but any get togethers or reunions.

    1. Thank you so much Becky for your sweet words! Right, once the ideas started to flow in, I realized there were so many games we could do, that didn’t even require too many things to setup πŸ˜€, so very doable😊.

  6. Yes, great work, esp on the individual serves and the gloves for the games. We had a party after last lockdown and I got all compostible containers with lids so there were no aerosols on the food. Hilarious on how you have to start thinking! It all looks so fabulous! #KCACOLS
