Rock Painting

Spent the weekend afternoon painting some rocks. I used paint pens on some, some I used the paint brush and some I painted with the new dotting tool that I bought few days back.
I have been waiting to try doing dot painting. Earlier I would just use the paint brush or the pens to draw the dots, but using these tools does make it easier.

These tools comes in a set which allows to make different size of dots. I bought these from Michaels. But you these easily on amazon too. I still need to play a little more to get to make different designs using these tools, but yes, its just not dots, with different techniques you can make different designs as well.

Paint pens are a great way to paint - makes it easier to draw and paint rather than using the paint brush. That is a personal choice ofcourse, but I do feel its less of a hassle, less messy and so convenient for people like me who are not great at using brushes to begin with :). So if you want to try using paint pens, You can try these that I bought on amazon. Below are the rocks that I painted using these paint pens.

  2. I love these Priyam. For a while, people were leaving these to be found and adopted. I have one I picked up that way and need to pay it forward. Featuring when my party opens!
