This is a quick and easy dessert
You'll need
--------------
8 oz. Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt
3 TBsp Sugar
Nuts (Pistachios, Almonds)
Few threads of Saffron (optional)
2 TBsp Milk (optional, needed only if you are using saffron)
Steps:
--------
- In a small pan over very low heat fry the saffron threads until they are a shade darker. It burns rather quickly, so be very careful. Crumble the saffron threads in the hot milk and let it stand for atleast 1/2 hour.
I didn't have saffron, so I omitted this step. Saffron gives it a beautiful color.
- Whisk together sour cream, sugar and saffron milk. Transfer to individual serving bowls and garnish with nuts.
-Serve it chilled.
