So here is how I made these pretty things...
You'll need:
--------------
Crepe Paper strips/streamers
Scissors
Glue
Thread and needle.
Steps:
-------
- Take 3 strips of approximately 45" of crepe paper and stack them on top of each other. Then make a running stitch on the strips. You can even use a sewing machine to do this by setting it largest stitch possible.
- After you have made the running stitch in the entire length of the strip, start pulling the thread on one end, so the strip starts gathering, just like the picture below. The strip will start to curl up a bit.
- Now from one end start rolling the strip.
-Flip the flower upside down and put the glue on the base and put a strip of crepe paper
- Now you have a beautiful flower to use however you like.
You can check other paper flowers by clicking the 'Paper Flower' label on the right.

DeleteGood Afternoon Priyam, I love these crepe paper flowers and they could be used in many different ways. Last year I saw large red and green paper flowers, sold for Christmas in a large department store.... I loved them but felt they were too pricey, now thanks to your instructions, I know how to make my own.... Thank you so much.
