Gardening Birthday Party.


Few weeks back, my daughter turned five and we celebrated her Birthday at the beautiful  Botanical garden here in San Diego. The garden offers lot of beautiful and exotic plants and plenty of room for kids to play and explore things. We had of activities during the Birthday party - rock painting, bubbles, painting and decorating the planters, planting plants, which the kids could take home and lot of time to run and play.

Keeping in mind the gardening theme, I made these adorable "dirt" cupcakes with oreo crushed as the "dirt", then put some leaves or worms on top to look like little pots of plants. I forgot to take pictures of all the food items, but here are some of the pictures from the party. .
